 Made from real croissants that are transformed into luxury lighting...these are not mere lamps; they are a convergence of craft, ritual, and luminosity. Each piece begins its journey in the magical Basque region of the Pyrenées. Boulangeries were scoured along the coastline, to find a bakery that still makes the traditional curved croissant. Once a source was secured, a year of prototype attempts and failures ensued, to learn and master the necessary methodology of creating the lunula crescens lamp. 

Across ten meticulous, cumulative hours, each croissant is hollowed with precision, distilled to its essential geometry, preserved to avoid spoiling, shaped to precise specifications (often from multiple croissants, gently dissected for their most aesthetic parts) and fortified beneath multiple layers of resin—emerging with luminous permanence that honors the delicate integrity of its original form.
